Landscape Design & Installation

We are not keen on trying to win clients over with lies. So here goes the cold hard truth! Any average landscaper can do a pretty decent job in maintaining outdoor areas. You are not going to get the premium service. Most of the times though they can get the job done. When it comes designing and installing all sorts of plants, trees, hardscapes, etc. Things are completely different. There are very few people out there that can consistently take a look at an empty lot or a beat-up lawn and imagine what could be and actually see it through to the end. We have good reason to believe that we employ a couple of those few people.
What Goes Into Landscape Design?
The way that we look at landscape design is pretty simple. The backyard or lot that the client has available is like a puzzle. From there we will try and fit the different assets that the client wants to be included on their property in such a way that they don’t look like they were forced in there. Instead, we hope to be able to create a space that will look harmonious while allowing trees, and plants to flourish. This may seem idealistic, but it is actually quite practical!
What Do You Want To Keep?
When we get calls from people who are looking to get us to work on their property, the “property” is not always an empty lot. Actually most of the times they already have a lawn in place or a couple of trees that have stood on that ground for years. We are never going to force anyone to start from scratch or anything like that. If you have certain assets that you want to keep or want to move to a different spot we will be able to arrange all of that.
Installation
To be able to truly create an amazing looking outdoor area you need to be very careful with the way that you go about placing both plants, and hardscapes. What we see happen a lot of times is that people are content with burying plant or flowers in the ground and they think just because they did that everything is going to flourish. The first thing that you really need to know is what type of natural terrain you are dealing with. This is not only going to allow you to understand what type of plants are more likely to flourish. It can also help while installing paths and things of that nature. The last thing we want is for them breakdown thanks to shifting soil!
The First Step of All of Our Jobs
We have two types of landscape design so to speak. Any time that we are called in, to plant a tree or a new lawn we are going to have to do at least slight design work. We are not saying this so you brace yourself for hidden fees, but rather so that you realize that everything that we do has a purpose!
